- Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6 is essential for sperm production and maturation. One study found that vitamin B6 levels were significantly lower in the seminal plasma of men with asthenozoospermia (reduced sperm motility) compared to men with normal sperm motility.
Vitamin B6 helps neutralize free radicals and prevents damage to sperm DNA. Vitamin B6 deficiency may cause chemotoxicity and oxidative damage to sperm by increasing homocysteine levels.
- Vitamin B 12
